WOD:  Reebok CrossFit Back Bay:  For time:

31 Burpees
31 Hang Power Clean (145/95)
31 Toes-to-Bar
31 Power Snatch (95/65)
31 Wall Balls (30/20)

If there are not enough 30 or 20 lb. balls, you may choose to use loads of 20/14 lbs. to do the workout as prescribed as long as you are wearing a 20 lb. weight vest for this portion.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is our “home” WOD. The three gym managers were asked about their favorite moves. Hang Power Cleans, Toes-to-Bar, and the Power Snatch were their answers (guess who picked which). The 31 reps are reflective of our address: 31 St. James Ave. The additional moves were added in to balance out the workout. Burpees and Hang Power Cleans are a good push / pull combination. Toes-to-Bar and Power Snatches are a good close / open couplet. Wall Balls also balance the pulling of the Power Snatches and put to good use the heavier balls of the gym. This WOD is being done on the 4-month anniversary of the gym’s opening date: January 11. This workout will be considered a benchmark and will be redone every four months on the 11th of that month.  This workout should be used as a reflection of your progress made here. Form and grip strength will be greatly tested, so a good rep scheme will be necessary to power through the WOD.
